Here's a good question then: Since the lot of us are driving DSM 1g/2g vehicles, being the last year of the 2gs in 1999, do we all plan to continue driving these units as much/best as possible - putting/rebuilding the motors/trannies, and keeping everything else in a good condition, knowing that these vehicles, are actually dinosaurs (not being made anymore) where we can call them "a collectable item"?

I thought I had low mileage, uhh 106k on a 91. Nothing rebuilt/exchanged. Boyfriend has 44k.. but it's pretty much a shell at the moment..

159k on the 96 GS-T, 102k On my 94 cobra (completly rebuilt) and 4500 on my KB 04 cobra. The DSM is my DD, and I'm lovin it. The others are only drivin sparingly.
This is my 3rd Eclipse, and all of them are still on the road (sold them to friends). Easily one of my favorite cars.
