Not sure if this should be in Gen tech or Parts talk. In the next few days I plan on running a GM MAF and translator. What do you do with the stock MAF after installing the GM MAF and Translator?
Do you just leave it in there unplugged? Take it out and fabricate something to fit the K&N filter on my Injen intake. On a side note I plan to install the GM MAF-T after the BOV. Thanks!:)

Not track only and only driven about 5 miles a day to work and back. When I bought the car it didnt have the cover and I've been meaning to get one just been lazy . I know the dangers I'm not an idiot but thanks for the concern.

I hear stock MAFs make great paperweights.

I'd say your best bet would be to try and take it out of the mount, or measure your intake and buy a K&N the same diameter.

Yeah, I will say I would be getting all but the top cover at least asap.
Yea I went to the junk yard recently but their wasn't very many and all the ones I did see weren't worth anything. I gringe everytime I go over some rocks on the road lol. Would NAPA carry covers? Or would I have to go to the dealer? Sorry not trying to take this thread off topic.
