I have a 93 talon with a 16g and thats about it. i recapped the ecu recently.

ill be driving and giving it gas and the car sputters bu if i let off and then go WOT it takes boosts away like normal. and on the freeway if i give it gas past 3500rpm at about 5 psi the car jerks almost like a fuel cut but doesnt seem like a hit your head on the steering wheel violent cut like people discribe.

im wondering if anyone else knows what im talking about, ive searched but nothing i read describes the take off afterwards in low gears. Ive heard boost leak and knock sensor may cause the fuel cut but whats going on with the boosting afterwards????

It sounds like you've got a boost leak. Sometimes turbos can make up for lost boost by spooling much much harder than they should. This will nuke a turbo fairly fast, depending on how big of a leak you've got. Do a leak test, and save yourself $450 because you won't have to buy a new 16g.

What you're describing to me sounds like a very rich mixture or a missing ignition system. Pull your plugs and take a look at their condition. A lot of times heavily rich or lean fueling will bog the car initially, but the car will still eventually overcome it. Eventually the fueling issue catches up at WOT and begins to make a misfire type feel/sound.

Rich fuel condition can be caused by boost leaks. If your running rich, try a boost test as I previously stated. If you have a solid system, no leaks, then you may try looking at fuel pressure, or even your coil/wires/maybe even a colder or hotter set of plugs....
