Yeah, I talked to him today. That was with the 35R too. He hasn't even installed the 40R yet, or used the nitrous. But he did break his pinion gear on that last pass, so now it's time for a tubular subframe and solid axle Ford 8.8.

He also pulled a 1.48 60-ft on those Hoosiers that I sold him. They seem to be leaps and bounds better than those DR's that he had.
Yeah he seems to not be breaking as much stuff. I am really impressed with his mph with that 35r too.

very nice manifold, if there was a warrenty i would definatly pick this up
There is a warranty.
Quoted from Jake's site:

WARRANTY INFORMATION: Lifetime "limited" warranty. JHRacing will warrant
fabricated exhaust manifolds against improper workmanship, and cracking to
the original purchaser. JHRacing reserves the right to refuse warranty claims
on items which were misused or improperly installed. There is absolutely NO
reimbursement for any laybor costs related to a warrantable defect. No other
components relating to the manifold failure are covered by this warranty, NO
exceptions. The installation and operation of JHRacing products are at the
liability of the owner/ operator.

Warranty Cliff Notes: I don't worry about these manifolds failing and neither
should you!

A DSMer will find a way. I am buying one as soon as this brother gets back from his vaction! I dont care if it has a Warranty or not, lol... that will not be needed.
yeah i guess you cant doubt it for a manifold to be tuned upside down or bolting a locomotive turbo to the manifold to make 2000hp

Im stuck between this and the T4 DNP Manifold, I have heard that there are some fitment issues with the oil feed line on gt42's, due to the placment of one of the wastegates, is this true?

-Josh
I, too, was moments away from buying the DNP-60, when talk showed me his. I have no direct experience with the DNP, but I'd be willing to bet my left leg that it's quality and materials doesn't even compare to that of Jake's.

As far as the oil feed line; I don't have a 42R, but I do remember having to route my feed line from the backside, because something was in the way toward the front. My memory = $hit. I'll snap a picture this afternoon to show how I did mine.

PS - I got about 600 miles on mine so far. She's been great thus far. I'll probably have it coated after the SO, though.

I've been talking to Jake and it looks like my RWD build will be using his products... I honestly don't see a better option for the money and warranty.

Are you guys building your own dump tubes? The more I look at this manifold, the more I want to ditch my top mount for one.
I just picked up one myself. I owned a DNP divided T4 before and clearly, JHRacing manifold is a better quality piece. I am planning to have Jake custom me the dump tubes and O2 downpipe.

May I ask why are you looking to ditch your topmount? Is this the Shear topmount?

Yes its a Shearer top mount. My topmount was made before Ron built the 2g specific top mount. Things are very tight up front even after I switched to an Afco radiator and relocated the alt. I could sell it to a 1g guy, buy this manifold and still have cash in my pocket.

Yeah, I made my own dumptubes for mine.

Homemade always fits better than universal/generic design. :)
