As the title states, I am looking for the thread size/pitch of DSM spark plugs. I believe it is M14 x 1.25, but I'm not positive.

Reason I ask is I am performing the compressed air method on my car to do valve stem seals, and I need to make/order a fitting.

If your mind isn't set on comp. air, you could try using rope. It offers a physical stop for the valves so you don't overpower the air. Just cram the chamber full of rope, crush it by moving the piston up and then go to work.
 
OR........you could get a compression tester from your local parts store (the screw in kind) and remove the schrader valve. Connect it to an air hose and you are in business:happy:

Yeah, I'm kind of old-fashioned though. I'd rather get something which actually threads in, and about 90psi ought to do the trick for holding them up. It's nicer to be able to set a pressure regulator, connect a line and be problem free if you ask me.

I know about the rope method, but that's way too much of a pain in my ass. Rope takes forever to get into the cylinders and to be honest, I don't have the patience! Compressed air FTW. Thanks for the advice though guys!

The compression tester does screw/thread in. The end that the gauge would normally hook to will connect to your air hose.

Yeah, I ended up making one anyway. Worked out well! Man, it's nice having a car that doesn't burn oil and smell like shit! Haha, anyway I'm finished, so mods can close this now unless anybody else has anything to say.

Oh yeah, and I used the Toyotool for the valve springs. That tool is fucking AMAZING. Springs came off in 30 seconds or less, and the installation of the springs/retainers/keepers went even faster. I do recommend buying valve stem pliers though, taking the seals out without some was a royal PITA.
