^^^^ Yeah and look at your MR-S or whatever it is, you obviously like body kits. IMO your car is hideous. No dsm will ever look good with a body kit. I will absolutely cry if I see a turbo DSM with a body kit on it.

1. Don't thread hijack! Erik didn't bring up his car, he added a worthwhile comment to the thread. Maybe you could try the same next time.

2. Erik's MR-S has sides skirts and a lip, not a body kit.

I have honestly seen this kit come out nice with enough prep work. It is not for most DSMers but it is about as good as it is going to get body kit wise for the 1G DSM. There was a member here back about 6 or so years that was from Hawaii with this kit and everyone loved the car. DSMAlpha maybe?
I know what your talking about, there is a guy over on tuners that it looked great on. But lasers are rare, I think they should be kept stock an clean.

Its the yellow car:

No that's Greg Collier's car from Cali. It was a fulld drift kit with custom flared fenders similar in size to mine but molded in. His served a purpose too as it kept the car lower to the ground while maintaining proper suspension angles and the front housed a ducted box for the intercooler and radiator, cooling ducts for the brakes, and served as a mounting point of sorts for the front splitter used to create more downforce. The kit was also part of a sponsorship through a company who turned into d-bags of sorts and turned their back on him, but I won't go any further down that road.

Keep it clean and functional, that's how dsm's look best. I'm amazed at how much better my own car looks now that I'm cleaning it up and decluttering the exterior for selling it.

Has the new owner of the car done anything since buying it? I was tempted to buy it when it was up for sale.

Last I knew he'd had some sort of race hauler and a ASA car as well and was trying to campaign them as some sort of team. Haven't heard much since then. That was about a year and a half ago.

Buy my car, it's about the same :D

Difference between then and now is I was making $60,000 a year and now I am making about 1/3rd that otherwise I would, I love your car.

The kit can look really good if the proper time is put into the install. If you drive your car on the street you will always be working on your kit, or paying someone top doller to keep it maintaned. Most people do not keep there kit maintaned. They put it on quickly and cheaply and it ends up a desaster. If you chose to put the kit on your car please keep it maintaned.
"Fiberglass srinks and expands to temp. very easy. Use a good flex additive with your paint"
GOOD LUCK.

I understand, and thanks. BTW, don't look now but I just posted a pic of the Talon minus decals on the driver's side in my for sale ad. Slowly working on getting them off, waxing it down, then rebuilding the bottom end.

LMAO. What are you 16?

You don't have to agree with me but there are more polite ways of getting that across.

Regardless of his opinion Erik, most people on here know you for always owning clean and tastefully modified cars. Is that all Tom's equipment on that MRS ?
