Has anyone done this?

Walbro 255
720cc injectors
2G MAF
E85

Seems like a very effective, cheap, and safe way to break 300AWHP for 1G guys without any sort of fuel control and on a stock turbo and sidemount since the E85 is very effective at keeping knock away- the 2G MAF also helps with no hitting fuel cut since it reads 20% leaner (roughly).

The only 1G I have access to is currently down (and already has AFPR, SAFC, and 16G on it in case it decides not to play nice) but you can bet I will be posting up results after this setup goes on.

Thoughts on this?

For the record- this has nothing to do with my current car- just food for thought for anyone looking for power on a budget. The idea popped into my head while playing with my fuel today.

I really dont think this will work without the fuel control. I am sure you will h ave to tweek it alot using the SAFC
Just out of curiousity why do you think you would need to mess with the SAFC? On the 1G I am speaking of it's zero'd out across the board on the SAFC running 550cc's and 2G MAF, numbers wise, it should work just like a stock car. I'm curious to see how it would actually turn out.

Without doing the exact calculations (which I have no clue how to do) in my opinion it's foolish.

Just try it and use a wideband. You know not to just WOT it til redline anyways. You will either know right off the bat, or be able to creep into it more and more.

I think somebody should do this. With the calculations it would work out just like people who run 550's and 2g maf, like stated above. This would just be a much better and bigger setup. I could try it on my stock daily but that wouldnt happen for quite sometime sence I'm paying for school, apartment ect..

The 720cc's should be fine since the car has some control over the a/f ratio with stft's and ltft's.

^ You will most likely run a little too rich using a mix, although using 610's or so would make for a decent running car on a 50/50 mix.

My buddy with his 1G is trying this (he doesn't know it yet haha), I'll pop out my wideband and log it. He has an SAFC2 already, so, it's a matter of buying 720's. He needs to upgrade his dinky 550s anyhow.

It may be a little while (he spun a rod bearing and we are putting in a bottom end currently) but I will be sure to revive the thread if need be.
