Hey guys i recently blew my motor and rebuilt it Ok so i finally finished putting everything back together in my car. I connect the battery and the car goes on as if the key was in the igntion forward but the keys not there my fuel pumps turns on and the light on my dash are on (brake a/t temp and battery light) as well. When i go to turn the car on it doesnt start. Now if i pull the 20a MPI motor fuse everything seems normal the lights are not on and the fuel pump doesnt prime itself when i connect the battery but the still doesnt start. I am so lost i dont know where to start looking can anyone help me out??!?!?! Also i havent changed anything electrical in the car since i put it back together it was a staright rebuilt. Car has an AEM in it.

Sounds like you've developed a short in your system somewhere. If you accidentally arc your wrench across the back of an alternator, you can definately have fun with fuses on that too.

If the wires from your alternator to your battery are hooked up wrong, then the alternator can actually trace power through the rest of your car, keeping it powered up.
