Lately I have noticed some 2g guys using 1g cas on their cars. I do know it advances the timing +3 degrees. Where can a man buy one of these at for a good price, junkyard possibly? If so, will it bolt right up? What are the downfalls of using it on a 2g, such as running nitrous for example, bigger turbo's etc etc. Thanks for the info!!!

That thread didn't say, yes you have to rewire the injector wires on the ECU on 95-96. 97+ you don't have to I think, but it will not get rid of this problem. You must install a Baro mod (fuel cut defender) and turn it prettt high (about 10,000 ft) you will get EVEN more timing with this mod, but you'll need an AFC to tune around it, the idle will also be a bit crappy.

Yes this has been covered in MAJOR depth so please do a search as many have put out a TON of GREAT info and I don't think that they will go through this again. Give it a shot in the search.
PS. so far it seems that it's 50/50 with the cars as some are throwing the CEL and others just kick ass!!
