Hey. I bought a 1993 eclipse gsx. The guy handed me a folder with every single receipt that he had for the car (Engine rebuild ect.)

He told me that the previous owner had installed a walbaro 255... But I didn't see a receipt for one. Is there anyway of knowing for sure if he did or not with out actually going in and looking at the fuel pump?

Not really. It's not that big a deal to pull it out and check, though. Might take you half an hour.

Or, you could power up the pump, and see how many liters of fuel it empties from your tank in an hour. If it's 255, then that's what you have :D

Edit: There's probably some math you could do, based on airflow, IDC's, fuel pressure, etc., but it would take as long to figure that out as it would to just pull it and look.

You can't miss the sound of a 255 esp in a 1g. Its loud, But if your still uncertain and you want to make yourself feel better pull the pump, and take down the number on the pump. It should be the following.
Walbro 190 = WALBRO GSS250
Walbro 255 = WALBRO GSS317
Walbro 255 HP = WALBRO GSS342

Is it less load in a 2g? Is the 190 < 255 < 255HP when it comes to noise? Is it annoying or barely noticable?
