Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows of any horns that sound like the bad-ass big rig trucks, but work with the standard 12v power source, not a compressor.
I want my talon to say "Move out tha way bitch!" instead of "hi....can you please....move...nevermind..." like it does now.
I'm not too too fond of the Talon horn as you can see.
Anyone know of any? Also I want the DEEP LOW ones, not the high pitched ones.

Thanks for the tip. Although Loudness isn't just the factor I'm going for. I want the Deep low end sound the 18wheelers have. Unfortunately I have yet to see them floating on the net. I have seen train horns, but those are just obnoxious and I would drive myself crazy with those. Although I might take your advice and see if I can find a low sounding horn from a truck or something
Thanks

I'd venture to say that you won't be finding anything like you want.

ALL of those LOUD, "deep toned" horns your referring to are all air powered.

I think 115db out of a 12v set-up is about as LOUD as your gonna get.

Hella also make one. It's called the Supertone. That's supposed to be fairly LOUD.

Get a fucking train horn. That has some balls to it.

No, get the Dixie Song Horn :)

To get back on topic, I know summit racing sells a variety of horns, as well as Jeg's.

I'm going to get La Cucuracha, and mount it on a Jeep.

I want the fog horn off some large maritime vessel. The one you hear in scary moves going "AAAHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNN"

Or something like this even

Check this out K_Mans

And to everyone else. Ya'll crazy haha. No cucaracha, no Dixie, haha. I want plain old
bad-ass.
Hell, the horn from the video I posted will work.

Also, harry99GSX needtofix, and LandoAWD,
Do those companies have low tone horns? or sound clips.
I have gone to too many websites and found just pictures. I wanna hear what they sound like too!

And also I will restate, Loudness is not a factor. Just Tone/Pitch

You can try youtube for some videos with sound. I'd imagine someone out there made a video of them. It seems like youtube has a video for just about anything lately.

Just try a search for exactly what your looking for.

Cool thanks. I see the videos, but I still have not yet seen a bad-ass 12v one. The one Lando posted was ok. Not something I would buy, but way better than my tinkerbell horn right now. Those Evo videos make me want to buy a train horn though. Kids in my highschool always have damn honk wars, and it pisses the crap out of me! This is where the train horn comes into play :naughty:

HA! if you find a supply of cheap train horns let me know- I want to put one in my 94 eclipse so I can blast it as I roll up to legacy high school LOL.
