Hey I was wondering if you can tune the low settings on the safc using egts. I've heard alot of discussion of tuning the low settings using the o2 voltage, like on the RRE page, but am wondering if there is a better way to dial in your new injectors.
Heres what I'm thinking.
Take note of all EGT temps, using the stock injectors and 0% on all the safc settings. (stock turbo...basically everything is running near stock fuel wise) Note the idle temp, the 1K rpm temp, 2K rpm, etc. Note the egt temps while cruising at speed keeping a contant rpm.
Then, when I add new injectors + turbo and my car needs to be tuned, I could use the baseline egt numbers that I have noted to tune the new injectors using the safc.
Does this make sense? Is is better to just do it the rre way?
