I responded to this thread a while back and needless to say it's a worthless thread. I need to unsubscribe from it so I can stop getting reminders by mail.

Who ever started it should look for a job in marketing because it is very very catchy.:D

I bought a Dynomax bullet race muffler (a glorified heavy wall mini glass pack with a perforated core) and a 90 degree mandrel bent pipe with 4ft legs from the dynomax catalog and I fabricated a side exit exhaust myself. I welded a DTM style tip on the end, tilted sideways, and it looks great. The tip won't hold a polish because of all the road grit that constantly sandblasts it, but the exhaust has been on for about 5 years and looks like it might last another year before I need to replace it. Next time I'll fab it from SS so it lasts forever. It sounds awesome, deep and throaty, and I've never gotten pulled over for it (it actually passes state insp. in PA... it "exits to the body line"). Total cost was about $80 if I remember right.

Monza Pacesetter here, sounds good, maybe not to the cops (it's a bit loud above 3K rpms) Paid $250 for mine, this is my 2nd one because after 3-4 years it will rot in NY weather, but what do ya want for a $250 exhaust that's not stainless steel. Overall I've been quite satisfied with it.

I've been running the N1 on my Talon for about two years now, and have no complaints. Sounds good and looks nice. I have seen some complain that the canister rusts out easily, but I have not driven mine in the snow so I can't say much on that topic....
