My goal is to get 350+awhp, with this set up is it possible?

Current mods - 98 GSX, 16G, Dejon hard piping, HKS pod (k&n soon), intake pipe, 3 inch down pipe/exhaust, boost/wideband gauges, FMIC, MBC

I'm going to buy these and install them together (Is this a good idea?)-
walboro255 / AFPR
550's or 660's?

Re: Oppinions on this set up

It might take more fuel than 550's or even 650's. If you have 'link then you can go bigger on injectors and adjust the deadtime and global and have them work as well or better than stock and not have to worry about running out of injector (since you won't be running out of pump) which is a good idea if you ever go bigger than the ebay 16g.
If that was my list and I had that goal I would be using 750~780cc injectors.

Do you have a 1g bov yet?

And you might want to look at meth injection, well because it is just so damn great for a d.d. if you plan on running pump gas.

Re: Oppinions on this set up

Oh, I've got a blitz BOV. What exactly is meth injection and how much does it cost o_O?
I don't mean to get you stired up with meth, because the mods talked about will probably reach your goal on their own with a good tune (assuming the ebay 16g holds up). But if you search on here you'll find more about meth/water injection. This is a good, if not one of the best makes of injection systems:

Re: Oppinions on this set up

If you are going DSMlink you might as well buy a massive set of injectors. 1000cc+
That way you'll have room to grow.

Re: Oppinions on this set up

If you're buying DSMlink, buy 1150s or something larger like that. You won't ever run out of injector, and you'll be able to run e85 without issues as well.

Power does not equate to a specific injector size. A certain amount of air requires a certain amount of fuel. Somone may be at 25psi on a 50 trim turbo with no cams and require 950s. Someone else may be at 20psi on a 50 trim turbo with 272s and require 1050s. It is car setup dependent.

Re: Oppinions on this set up

Do you run e85 or something ?

I didnt say he should/could not go bigger. just stating what i thought would be a good size.
Agreed it is a good size for a 16g, but if you ever want to go bigger...Why buy injectors twice.

No I'm on 93 pump, with a 255 and 6an line from in the take to the rail. I just flow a lot from my 16g. :)

Yeah I want to just keep running 93 pump, I don't even have the slightest idea where to get e85 around here anyway. Engine internals are stock I believe, possibly get like a 264/264 cam in the future, but no time soon, maybe in a year or two. So should I just get some big ass injectors and tune with link?

What I meant to day is I agree and they are are good size for you if you have 'link. If you have an safc yyou can't set the global and deadtime as you would in link so you would have to use innjectors closer to the stock size. but with link you are almost limit less.

With a safc he cant go bigger than a 660 as it is. Unless he runs a translator with it. All in all your set up should get you the hp you want. Just go with as big of injector as you can on your budget or tuning device will allow.
