There is so much wrong with what you just wrote that I refuse to even entertain your nonsense. A 4g is NOT a DSM, your statement about rust makes no sense at all. And where the HELL is this galant thing coming from?
The "rust" statement makes sense if you live in my climate = we have 90 days without frost = it is very wet. If I get one from the States it would more likely have less rust because of the warmer climate.
oh and the Galant thing = the 4g63 Engine from a Galant vr4, lol maybe you should do some more reading. jk of course.

Hehe, is all good- but I figured all DSM's in that area would have rust. Not just the talons.
Yeah, but he said they didn't get the Eclipse, so most likely all of the Eclipses up there were imported and probably then cared for. At least that's the most logical thought flow that I see.

But in all honesty, until you get south of, say, Iowa, you're going to see the same rust on these cars. My car was a Minnesota car for all 13 years, and while it runs like clockwork, god help me every time I have to change the simplest thing on it (that hasn't been doused by oil from the valve cover), because at least one bolt is going to break and need to be drilled out. Hell, I had the bolt that attaches the front passenger strut to the lateral arm twist off on me this past winter because it had seized inside that bushing, and that's a pretty thick bolt. That right there should be motivation enough to look further south for these cars.
