Here is my old thread. Sucks to not be able to change the topic.
http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=215388

I had some engine issues and had to build the bottom end again.
So finally I went to the track again.
On friday night there was a test and tune night and in my first pass I made a beautiful 10sec pass 10.999@137 :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7-8uplqDkI

My 2nd 10 sec run with my fastest mph http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZ4EZe89Buk

Then there was a race on saturday.

I raced my friends sick subaru http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WdX4RmVJVU
In car from another race with the suby

And then I got in the finals against a cracy R32 gtr skyline
Made one video of all 3 passes. The first in car video failed.

This was all done on a rally gas. 102oct = like 96oct for usa. Very good for knock. Boost was 35-37 lbs peek. Timing was very low (11° up top) cause I had limited amount of that gas and didn't have time to tune it allot.

Congratulations! That little 1g has some top-end power.

Great runs! Shame about the R32.

Do you think it has a 1.6 60ft in it?

I think low 1.6 is very possible. This (1.696) was done on sumitomo all weather tires w/20 psi in them.

Are you launching at 7k or something? And nice car, i guess just get those 60fts down if you can. The cars you raced were nice also.
Yes the 2step is at 6900 fuel cut. And I'm using the upper clutch switch to activate the fuel cut, then I can use that for nlts as well.

Looks to me like he is launching at 7k and shifting around 8k? Also, those trap speeds look a little high for the times? Or is it just me that thinks that? Was this all boost?

Andrew
Yes launch at about 7000 and shift at 8000-8500. Can shift it at 9000 if I want.
The trap is high for the times thats right. I believe if I get the 60ft down the time will be much better.

Yes all boost. No nos. 37psi peak. Tapering to 34psi.

VERY nice!

I have the same turbo/manifold setup sitting in my garage. Good to see it making good power. Is this the .63 or .82 backside?

How is the car, streetability wise?

With that trap speed you should be in the High 9's Low low 10's. Just need to get some DR's or Slicks and bam your there.
Yubb. That is the plan. I can also borrow my friends nitto extreme drag and try them. My only issue now is that I'm not allowed on the track because of my hight trap speed. Need full roll cage

VERY nice!

Nice. I'd put it in right away :) Mine is .82 ar.

Car is very streetable but I don't like to drive is to much on the streets.

Nice! Your car sounds nasty in the first video. what do you have done if you don't mind.
Nasty good?

The mods are listed in my other tread. Link in first post.

See, from what I've heard and read the tial external wastegate (and any other external wastegate for what I know) will only like to hold about twice the preload spring. That is the way I've got it hooked up.
When I was boostin 26psi it got there and stayed till redline.

Thanks everybody for kind words ;)
