Ok, I just hooked up a oil pressure gauge, and I had put on a sender unit to the existing hookup near the oil filter so it can read the oil pressure, and when hitting it hard, my gauge goes to around 100psi, is this normal? It seems high to me. Thanks.

Right now it is manual, but I am switching it for digital, oh and I have balance shafts.

Hm, Mine stops at 100psi too, but i'm getting a new gauge that goes higher, I am curious to see how high it goes

I have a 100% healthy bone stock engine with 70k miles on it and oil pressure at WOT on my mechanical gauge reads around 120psi. I always run 10w30 royal purple.

Or an oil cap period, mine leaked, but then I got a new one, nice pretty new one lol, with an eagle emblem sketched in it. Pretty cool. Anywho, yeah I have a basically bone stock with 65k original miles running royal purple as well. Heh, cars are alike lol.

Hey I got a cap like that too, much better than my stocker.
On topic - So if 100-120 is normal at WOT, what should it read at idle and crusing? I'm about to install mine this weekend.

Hm, mine will sometimes idle around 5-10psi. . .
