Hey how are you guys doing, well i bought a 96 GSX built with a 16G and a lot of extras but the guy who sold it to me took the AFC Neo out and left the Air?Fuel Gauge disconnected. The car stutters between 2nd and 3rd revolution. the owner says it does that because it is running rich. Not sure if it does it in drive for the fact that i still have to install my clutch master cylinder. But is it safe can i damage the car? Sorry im new to the turbo world .
Is it ok to use GSX untunned as a daily driver?

Just turn the boost down and get the A/F put back in.

Oh hell yes, make sure all the maintenance is done. It would be a wast if you blow up you motor not doing it right. And doing proper maintenance will help your car last alot longer. Good luck and read till your eyes are bleeding.

You got a great deal bro, just take your time and read like everyone is saying. I got my DSM in December and I'm not a scratch deep. You have to want to learn and put in the time and effort in doing repairs yourself so you become your car and you'll always have the skill in the long run.
Just do us all a favor, and especially yourself, do the proper maintenance. Just because you don't have money focus on that.

Going off of the rest of the mods to the car, I'd go ahead and guess that the air/fuel gauge is just the narrow-band blinky type... really not a crucial thing to have connected, since it doesn't really bring much to the table.

A/F isnt all that important but the AFC Neo it was connected to was so i need to get that asap.

A/F IS important, just not that worthless type of gauge.
Like everyone has been saying, there isn't really anything that would need to be tuned(i.e, fuel pump, injectors, air flow change, etc.)... so worry about more important things before you find another AFC.
the newest version is called ecmlink now.
