Well ive began to reinstall my first clutch job. Im running a resurfaced stock flywheel, A brand new ACT street disk and a used SBR 3500 PP. I torqued down the flywheel to 96 Ft Lbs and I did it in the star pattern like torquing wheels. I then pushed in the alignment tool from my buddys ACT 2600 kit if that matters. Threw the disk in making sure the flywheel sticker was on the right side. I then put on my pressure plate torqued it down slowly half a turn on each repeat until tight then final torque was 14 ft lbs again in the same pattern as my wheel lugs. I then noticed as I was done that my PP fingers are extremely straight. I didnt know if this was normal or not. Are their any compatability issues between the SBR 3500 PP and the street disk? Is this normal or not?

I'd torque em down to 22-24ft/lbs. 14ft/lbs is what the STOCK pressure plate calls for. Aftermarket plate should be torqued down a little more. And now you get to PRAY u don't have disengagement issues. Running mismatched discs/pressure plates (a really used one is even worse) is just asking for problems. I wish you luck.

QWK your killin me man. Damn okay well I guess ill torque them to that and hope for the best. My buddy has a used ACT 2600 PP I might be able to get him to part with, Would that be a better option than this SBR?

Slightly yes. Depends on how warped the 2600 PP is. They are known to warp and bow inward as they get hot and used. Run a straight edge across and see how much runout you have. As far as being a better choice of PP, of course. The ACT disc is designed to be used with their PP as well as having the flywheel stepped to the correct height (you DID have the flywheel cut to .609" step height?) Resurfacing alone won't do this. Has to be cut accurately. If the step is off, disengagement issues are sure to follow.

Ive asked around alittle bit and some people have said that only first gens need to have their flywheel stepped? Also ive been searching lots but does anyone know of anyone running this PP and disk?

Is the .609" a General thing or does it vary from set up to set up?. I will be giving SBR a call on tuesday to see if they have any info on the compatibility. Since they sell both ACT products and their own brand of course they hopefully have some knowledge on my situation.

Thanks alot to all the advice you saved me hours of work ripping out my trans again, I will keep you posted.

.609 is ACT's recommended step if you are using their PP and disc. Once you start mismatching brands, you are basically just pissing in the wind hoping you don't get wet. SBR ain't gonna help you with shit. They will try to sell you something that's out of stock, tell you it's in stock, charge you, then when you don't have it in 3 weeks and demand a refund, they will charge you a 15% restocking fee. Good luck.
