I have a 1990 talon (fwd) but did a motor swap when the stock engine blew. The new motor is 1994 Mits DOHC turbo. As you guys might no the outlet to the stock talon 4g63 turbo faces the ground. On the Mits 1994 4g63 it faces up. I have been looking around for an intercooler kit that will fit on the body of the talon and fit the motor also. I cant seem to find one that will fit both. Has anyone found a kit that will work for this set up? Please help me out guys! Thanks.

Did you take the engine out of a 2G car? All 1G Turbo 4G63's had 14B's on them which faced upwards. The 2G's had T25's which do point towards the ground. Why the hell did you fit a 2G engine into a 1G?

Also, you just need a J-pipe that goes from the 14b/16g turbine, and curves straight down. There isn't a special intercooler for a Talon, and a special different intercooler for an Eclipse. The 1G kit is the same for all 1G's, you just have to specify which turbo you have.

Good god. This has bad news written all over it. Get yourself a stock 1g intake tract. It is easy to find. And I have some news for you which you may not know, but just swapping in the motor is not going to cut it. You have alot of stuff you will need to do for this to be successful. I suggest you start searching the n/t to turbo swap. Pronto.

You really need to be educated. If that is the case, the only physical difference between the two is an extra bolt in the crank. Everything should be the same. So you need to figure out what you have going on. Because you should not have an issue. At all. The only way it would be different is if the motor you aquired was from a 95, OR the car you got it from had a different Jpipe already bolted on. And since the 2g 7bolt would not drop into the car, im pretty sure of the latter.
