I thought Rau's record was 6.80 even? What the hell is that abomination of a car? That seems to me like it's a full on "funny car", where as Rau's eclipse is only back-halved.

Either way, when the 4G Rail gets serious, we'll see Rau's record broken. :D

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Rau has run as fast as a 6.78 or so.

Either way, the fastest 4 cylinder has always been the VW powered rail running 6.60-6.50's.

Sorry about the link guys, I was at work and couldn't get back to It on time. According to the guys on GRS-Motorsports, their are 3-4 more Toyota's In the same class aiming at that same record. I'd heard about Chivy King back when I lived In Puerto Rico, so when I heard he broke Brent Rau's record, I was like DAMN he sure has come a long way!!

Not that the car didn't run what the video shows, but all those people behind the car on the line, etc make it look staged. Anyone that has built something that has accomplished anything knows you don't just build it, get everyone together and watch magic happen on the first pass. Congrats on the time if thats what it was, but I hate the big production bullshit.

BTW the video showed 193MPH, Rau has been 199 MPH. So even if their ET is quicker, Rau is still faster by 6 MPH. They make a big production and can't even get the title right
