Hey, I am wanting to do my interior pieces all black, and I was wondering what would be my best option as far as paint? Or if there is anything else I can use.. I will do whatever will hold up best, I would just like some different opinions?

Duplicolor. Some people Use krylon fusion. Just go to an AUTOPAINT shop Like a local one not maaco or how ever it's spelled... They can help you alot..

There is a product sold in the LMC truck catalogs that is supposed to be better than vinyl dye, supposedly it chemically bonds with the plastic/vinyl and never wears off or anything. I dyed some armrests in a mustang with duplicolor vinyl and fabric and it worked out great with no fisheye, probably would have eventually worn off though.

You probably don't want to hear this, but my understanding is that the best way to do all that would just be to get black panels instead of painting them. The paint will chip and wear over time and make your whole interior look like shit. I had my interior painted black on my rs before I sold it, and I made sure I painted it with the proper procedure (cleaning, priming, etc.). And even though I was careful not to scratch it, my girlfriend still found a way to on the passenger side.

Maybe your case will be different though, so good luck.

There are a few threads on this. SEM paint is the way to go in my expierince.
Without a doubt, this is simply the best product for doing what you need to do without yielding a cheezy gloss finish that will flake off in no time.
