I'm glad I finally had a day to dedicate to cleaning this thing in and out. Lately it's been my work truck, hauling parts to and from the shop for my AWD rebuild. Let me know what you think! :)

How hard is it to clay bar it? My jeep has stained paint from some nasty mud I got into and I heard you have to clay it to take it out, Is it harder than a hand wax?
Claying takes less time and effort than waxing, actually. Just make sure you wax anytime you clay, or it will be for nothing.

Look up some videos on youtube.

It's not hard at all man, like stated above, it's easier than waxing. Just takes a little bit of time, but then again, anything does when you detail a car.

To be honest it looks like ass... jk lol it looks great good job and I like how you muffler is so clean it stands out I like :D
I try to clean everything I can :)

Your engine bay is super clean :)
Thanks! Looks better then when I got it...

Thank you!

Not bad at all. Keep on maintaining it like that.

Looks good, you definitely take care of your car.
Thanks guys. It doesn't have much done to it, just a few things, but my main focus was always to keep it clean. Maintainance was always a first, and rust is a no-no. Plus, I love the feeling when you go for a cruise and you look in the rearview, and see the sunshine reflect off of the wing :)

Looking good man! Awesome!!! :)

So it's N/T that you turboed or a full swap?

Nice and clean...
Thanks! Yup, it's the original NT engine, with the original NT transmission, and it just rolled over 121,400 miles today!

Boosted, I just noticed that now, kinda sketchy actually.

Looking good man! Awesome!!! :)
Thank you!

I think your paint looks great, one question though, was this portion of your car ever repainted? Does all of your paint look like this up close? Was the entire car repainted before?

Reason I ask is because it looks like a slight amount of orange peal, if you have a thick layer of clear on that car, I would wet sand a little and hit it with a buff. Otherwise your paint looks way better than my z33 and it is an 03! Props my friend.

Yeah, the entire car was re-painted back in 2006 I believe by the previous owner. And yes, all the paint looks like that, the whole car has the same shine/mirror-like black.

As for the clear coat, I do not trust myself with any sand paper or buffer yet haha! I get very paranoid not to ruin it. I tweak when people even try to write on the dust.

But thank you :)

Car looks horrible. It is an embarrassment to DSM's.

You should ship it to me, so I can take the embarrassment for you. :D

(That means your car looks sexy. Probably runs like a beast with the 9:1 pistons at 15 lbs).

Nice, I love how clean the pacesetter manifold can look lol. Mine looks like crap but it will be clean when it goes back in my bay. I love the shine to your car and I know exactly how you feel when you look in the rearview and see it shine. My daily Grand AM is washed and waxed each week and hand dried after washing. You can tell the difference.
