And yet the argument can be made that the fastest Evo's don't run that big, what's your point?

I run 3.25" piping. :dunno:
That he was getting his balls busted for running 3.5ic pipes, when there are people who even run 4 inch. Yea 2.5 are fine im not sayin that, but when the outlet of the turbo and tb size are huge it only makes sense to match that size.

I'm waiting for a coupler to get here on monday. Than I can finish the section from the intercooler to the throttle body.

And yes. The piping diameter matches the turbo outlet, intercooler, and throttle body diameter. The GT42's compressor outlet uses a 3.5" v-band outlet but the actual inside diameter of the turbos outlet is more like 3". So I have 3" piping from the turbo to the 3" inlet on the intercooler. Than it leaves through the 3" oulet of the intercooler where it makes the transition to 3.5 inches. The throttle body actually measures 3.75" but the aluminum 3.5" V-band weld flange butts up against the throttle body perfectly. So everything is fairly smooth. I believe it's going to work out alright.
