Hey everyone,
Can anyone post their secrets to removing the stained coolant marks from polished aluminum intercooler piping. I've been using EAGLE 1 mag/aluminum polish, and its super shiny, but the stains are still there
Help would be nice, Thanks

I've never had any luck polishing. I had a radiator hose blow off and it pretty much ruined the finish on every polished piece in my bay.

I still havn't found anything. Me and my friend gave up trying to polish his pipes and sanded them down for a brushed metal look. Not to shabby. But i'm not touching my pipes with sandpaper haha. I'll keep testing stuff i find. (wadding polish is a DEF waste of money)

This is what you want to use but first clean the pipe with some brake cleaner.

If it not enough put some BlueMagic on the never dull ...

If it still not enough, buy a buffing wheel that you can put on an air dremel or buy a buffing bench and work with the BlueMagic :D

Now that I have saved your piping send me 15$ with paypal ;)

What about using very fine steel wool? I've used it to clean up lots of stainless parts including my ss thermal r&d muffler and it cleaned it right up. I'm not to sure what results you would get from using it on polished aluminum but I think it would be better than scratching it up with sandpaper.
