Beehive!!!!

So there's a beehive in my car.. How do I take it out? :D
The bee's are getting a little rowdy and patrolling my car around.
It's in the scoop thing on the side of the car.

How do I remove that scoop and clean it out? Do I have to get it out from the inside of the car, do I have to remove the side skirt, etc.?

Don't worry, I'll be sure to take pics of the bee's and honeycomb looking thing :p

well, I don't really have any bee's in there anymore, just bee's always flying around my car trying to find it.... so how would I remove the scoop or what ever it's called?

But then how will your car breath? Seriously if I recall correctly that vent is functional. Turn on your interior fans, set the vents to pull in fresh air, get out of the car, close the doors with the windows rolled up and go stick your hand by those vents. (wet palm would work better) You can feel air being blown out of them. The air going into your cabin has to go some where when it's all sealed up. Thats the exit point if I recall correctly.

You block it without another way for the air to get out, and your interior ventilation will suffer. I would say just put some tape over them for the next week or two. The bee's will give up after a while and move on.

I use to do landscaping for a big company that had a lot of very big accounts at some local companies. They had this commercial grade "flying bug" killer. This stuff destroys their wings and outer exoskelatin in an instant. I can't think of the name but you can probably buy some online.

I just tossed a set in the trash. I knew I should have kept them,lol. Damnit! I kept everything else that I tore off my old parts car,but tossed the one thing that they don't sell anymore. Wonderful!
Anyway,go get yourself a body panel removal tool. Their like $10 bucks at most autoparts stores. If you live around a store that specializes in autobody tools and materials try there first

Watch out for damage to plastic and foam (double-sided tape). A lot of hydrocarbon-based bug sprays will dissolve or otherwise damage plastic. I'd be very careful where and how much bug spray I use.

You can at least get to the back sides of those vents on the interior. It's actually pretty easy. Remove the upper near the window push/pull clips, two behind the seat backs, and two screws under the cushion. There's three or four snap in plastic clips you can pop out with a screw driver. If you pull gently on the edge near the drivers side you can see them. The other side of the vent is right there and easy to get to.
