Looking good, keep up the good work. Just wondering how much did you spend on the engine parts & labor (or DIY) if you don't mind me asking?

I like your build list :D sounds almost identical to the build I'm getting ready to start! My build will be:

Eagle Crank 100mm
Pauter x-beam Rods
CP Stroker pistons 9:1 .20 over
Kiggly Main Girdle
ACL Race and Thrust Bearings
Ferrea Valves 1mm over
Ferrea Dual valve springs/beehive springs (and associated parts..)
Full Port on Intake/exhaust
5 angle valve job
Not sure on the cams or turbo yet though...

Not really sure if I want to use the Dual springs or beehive either yet though...

I'll keep an eye on your build, definitely interested in what power you make

I would seriously look into the Kiggly Springs if I were you. Also, make sure that you have that rotating assembly balanced, specifically the crank... But it's better to just do the whole assembly.

As far as cams, that will depend on your turbo and intake manifold selection.. It really just depends on the goals you have for your setup.

Ok, so I haven't updated in a while, but a bunch of parts have come in recently. AEM EMS, cross bar, tons of little stuff, and I recently bought a T4 exhaust housing thanks to a member on here.

I'm also in the middle of picking up a 2G GSX and doing a little bit of work to my Cobra... Hopefully I can recover from those expenses quickly and finish up buying the last few parts I need soon.

I'm really looking forward to the 2G I'm picking up, should be a fun DD/street car.

Good luck with the build, looks like you have a good start.
Thanks! I still have a fair amount of stuff to buy (not many things actually) but they are all expensive pieces.

Once I get the Cobra finished up this week, I'll move onto a beater civic I have (basic engine rebuild), then it's to the 2G GSX I picked up.

Once all of that is done, I have to put together a GS-T I have and get it sold, and I'll finish up buying parts for this car.. Should be together and running before the end of this year.

Wow man..Any pics?

What kind of Cobra?

Yeah, I'll post pictures up of the new car when I actually pick it up... It sitting there just waiting for me to bring a trailer and load her up.

As far as parts go, I'll post pictures of the stockpiles of parts laying around later tonight lol

And.... For the cobra, this is it:

No, the car is stock engine.

Has a built 31 spline rearend, built T56 (six speed tremec), full suspension (coilovers, tubular k-member, tubular a-arms, tubular upper/lowers, eibach rear springs, maximum motorsports caster/camber plates, maximum motorsports steering shaft, AGP quick ratio rack), 03-04 manifolds, bassani x-pipe, magnaflow magnapacks, and 03-04 rear exhaust going on. Also has an aluminum driveshaft, flywheel, C&L intake/mass air, and IMRC delete.

When I get a new DD, I have a 4V C-head 5.4 laying around that will get some forged internals and it will have a turbo put on it... But that's a while down the road.

I knew what a T56 was lol...I know a hell of a lot more about Mustangs than I do DSM's..And a Single Turbo 5.4 would be beast!

Hahaha, some people have no clue... And that 5.4 will definately do some work. I've come very close to just make it an n/a 5.4 (11.5 compression with a set of custom comp cams) and go for 500 n/a hp. But instead I bought all of this stuff for the DSM. :p

Yeah a N/A with 500 would be pretty beast..But a relatively high CR and Turbo would be better.

OK, so setup has slightly changed... again. I sold off several other parts and am in the process of getting a T4 topmount manifold fabricated. Also, going to be going with a turbosmart bov, to match the wastegate. :)

I have three cars that are getting stuff done so I'm throwing a little money at each as I can to get everything where I want it on all of them. I just recently bought a trailblazer and need to buy a trailer for this car, so I made the hard decision to sell the cobra as well.. It'll be ok, I'll have a 99 GSX getting picked up shortly (I hope) that should provide for a fun street car.

Hopefully I will get this GS-T put back together with zero issues, along with a 4-door civic I have, sell them, and I can finish my race car up.

Nice! Looks clean, man. I like Fox bodies but I can't say I miss the headaches. I had a 347ci stroker in my 89'. It ran well with small tires on it but I got sick of all the drivetrain problems when I tried to make it hook. Motor ran well. Drivetrain was crap.
