i know that on my 90 tsi is ezy to make your front side marks clear.
That lanse is snap in and sealed with some type of pudy. All you do is to take it apart and remove the yellow plastik . I did not take myne apart , yet. but i did take my rears apart , and put them back together.

one of them was fogy inside and i cleaned it , the center pece i was trying to make an euro rear fog light . But i had no time to mess around with it so i had to put it tugether for the salvage inspection ( stolen recovery)

the euro rear fog was in the bumber instead of one of the reverse lights:

I figured that they were not in the center tail.
But it would be a stelth look anyway .

Just like Saab has it mounted under the rear bumper.

But my '79' 264 Volvo has them inside the tail lights behing the reflective part that you see in your head light coming up on car from behind in the dark when the car is parked.

is there any metal or anything blocking the back of the rear center panel? i might want to do that hidden rear fog light you were talking about....

Well the PITA is that it's painted silver ( the red plastick part )

I had no time to test the paint removers if they melt the plastick . So until i'll find a product that will not destroy the lence , i would not prefer to try it your self .

Good luck if you want to try it .

Is your car the silver color? Without the rear spoiler on it? If so I talked to you recently (Saturday) maybe? I was the kid in the black 1g that you saw on the post road in orange...just wonderin if it's as small of a world as it seems...You said you had the fishtank bleeder valve for a boost controller...your car is a 90-91 right? You have no exhaust tips on the muffler right? Oh well, gotta go. BTW the heatgun method didn't work for me when trying to take my clear corners apart, anyone have any methods for me? Thanks :p
