Battery disconnected, will ignition turn?

Battery supplies power, battery disconnected, no power to starter, engine no turn.

I know the engine wont. Burkgonzo is right I'm basically asking if the ignition will physically turn.

I'm pretty sure it is a lost cause with her. And I'm only 85% sure this is the correct key. She weighs all of 100lbs. I'm going to have a friend go over and do it.

sounds like the wheel is hard turned on the lock so you need to pull on the wheel the opposite direction to get the wheel pressure off the key

Sounds like what happened with my gf and a locked steering wheel. Biggest mission of my life telling her what to do over the phone while she's oblivious to what I'm saying...

My friend's DSM is a PITA. You have to wiggle the key and steering wheel in a certain way for it to unlock.

a great anti-theft feature then.

i have a toggle switch panel and a momentary switch. so if you hit the right switchs then, rumble rumble rumble.
