Ebay 3" Cat Back Exhaust

No problem. That first video is kinda crappy. When my new droid x comes in with the hd video, ill redo it with a current update (no cat, 3" turbo back)

As an update, this exhaust still sounds as mean since day 1. No rust, no wholes, nodda. Great buy for the $220 I paid for it.

After some minimal grinding and fitting the full exhaust into place on my 2g awd, I too have no rust and no holes, she still sounds good to my ears coming up on 3 years.

The majority of my problems came with having to open the holes in the downpipe where the eBay exhaust meets my 2g o2 housing.

The other issuse I had was how the exhaust sat in the rear of the car. The way the exhaust was routed it came too close to the rear swaybar and would hit it when riding over bumps.

I had to take my exhaust to a performance exhaust shop that could deal with the stainless steel ie. tig weld. (moroe muffler can't weld S.S.) after a few tweaks in the axle back section of the car I had an exhaust that I was proud of.

The exhaust guy also commented on what good quality the s.s. was and that what I paid for the exhuast (w/ shipping) was far less than he would have had to pay for the raw materials.

Hm, the only issue I had with this exhaust, which wasent really an issue was they mounted a mount on the wrong side of the exhaust, but I just cut it off and welded it on the other side, but other than that, fitment was perfect, and I just ported the flange to fit to my 2.75" o2 housing. But yeah, I am happy with my purchase, and see that you guys are too.

An update, this exhaust is still holding strong, with absolutely NO rust what so ever. Also, a sound update.

Just checked out the seller you mentioned in the beginning of the thread. He's still around and selling plenty of stuff, got plenty of 2g catbacks. But nothing for the 1g's.
