Hey guys,

Last week I posted a thread wondering why my afc2 screen was blank. Checked all the connection and figured the safc2 just went out. I put the stock injectors in last night and re wired the harness and the car still isn't starting. The only thing I can figure is the ecu is fried. A little background about a week before I had a guage power wire ground out and smoke rolled out of the dash. Anyway if the ecu is dead will the injectors still fire? I have fuel, timing is correct, haven't check for spark or compression yet.

The injectors are firing. My main question is will the injectors fire if the ecu is fried. I have heard that when you turn the key to on position if the check engine light does not come on that can be and indication that the ecu is done. Can anyone verify this?
