I am thinking of picking up my friends 1991 awd turbo laser that someone set on fire. The car didnt burn long but the wiring harness hoses and other plastics are gone. He wants a 3in stainless exhaust h-beam rods and a couple other misc 2g parts plus 600 cash. The car is spotless from doors back no rust motor work done and about $2000 in goodies. My question is is it worth it and should i try repairing harness or just start looking for new? this is my first post i hope i did it right sory if i didnt.

I think that is an outrageous price for a dead car. I would pay 500 and no more. But that is just me.

no i have a set of h-beams for a 2g he wants ( he is using insurance money to buy a 1995 gsx and i have a 1995 talon) i told him i get everything on the car for that price he isnt getting to pull anything off of it

Haynes or chilton manuals are ur best friend. In the back of my Haynes theirs a crap load of wiring diagrams. Only thing the Haynes didn't have or I couldn't find was a vacuum diagram for a 2g. But I found a small 1g one? Anyways sounds like a decent deal you could get more than 700 all day for that motor alone. Trans brings ya up another few hundred. Better yet throw the 6 bolt in a 2g ;).

Well my master plan is to fix the laser and drive it ( i work at a body shop i could do all the paint and that there) and while driving that finish the 95 talon shell i got in the garage then a simple engine change and i got a 95 talon eclipse conversion with a custom wide body kit (5 in. out on quater and fenders) quater glass is gone welded up and bondo over. custom int. 4-bolt rear end vented rear brakes and eprom ecu. Then i will sell the spotless laser shell. At least i hope it works something like that right now im just excited about having another one i could drive now!
