:O This is why I don't drive faster the 65 max!

I don't think they would of made a different windshield for it? Call your insurance and see what a glass deductable is at. Say a bird hit it.... a BIG Bird!

hmm strange, i called the junkyard and they asked me if it had a sunroof or not they said it made a difference, i wasn't sure tho, i actually have a set of hood pins and i didn't install them yet, so now i'm kickin myself in the ass.

Was there any damage to the hood? What brand and how'd it fly up? Dman, now you got me worried cause I don't have the pins on mine.

Yeah the hood is totally F***ED up the whole underside is broken i can flex the hood like 6 inches the top is completely cracked and broken carbon in some spots. the hood is not saveable. I would HIGHLY recommend getting some hood pins if you plan on going fast because you never know when it could happen.

apparently there is a difference between the windshields. I called a local mitsu dealer here and asked what windshield i needed for a 95 eclipse gsx. there is one for a turbo model or one for a sunroof, but i have turbo and a sunroof? anyone?

I never heard of a difference. We used a 97 turbo windshield with sunroof in a 96 GS with sunroof.

It's the same glass. Most of the time when you call a dealer or a windshield place they have a set of drill down questions that they ask that the computer is asking because on other cars their is a difference between sun roof and non sun roof. The guys on here know their stuff and it is the same piece of glass.
