I am having my 90 tsi awd worked on. I purchased the car in pieces and am trying to get it back together and in running condition. I got a phone call from the guy working on it and he said the coil pack i have didn't fit. He told me they had a different plug into the harness. What is the difference between packs and where can I get one to fit my 90?

The 90 coil harness is different and use a 4 pins connector instead of 3 for 91 to 99 ...

But does a 95-99 coil pack have the same mounting brackets as a 91-94? I don't play with 2G stuff too much so I wouldn't know.91 to 99 got the same connector my friend !

The answer is yes since JMF make a coil bracket relocation for 1990 to 1999 DSM.
