So a buddy of mine found a few parts laying around that he was selling off for cheap, One thing was an exhaust manifold for a dsm. I offered him $20 bucks for it and we had a deal. He told me it was never used and sent me the gaskets and bolts it came with. Well this deal was too good to be true, after seeing this manifold in person im skeptical as to putting this on my car without porting the exhaust holes a bit better, thats if it will even fit. When it sits flat the turbo flange side is on a 15 degree angle. Here some pictures for reference,

Sorry pictures from my IPhone

It's an ebay DNP copy. You will be fine running it, just have the welds checked out before you do. They are not BAD manifolds at all.

I want to try the manifold after I freshen it up a bit, my only concern is the angle the turbo flange is on, any ideas? The angle looks a lot worse in the photo but it is no where near flat. Ill try to use it once my 16g comes in and let you guys know. Thanks.

It fits fine, stop worrying. It's that way for a reason, the way the flange is and the tubes it has to be angled that way. It'll bolt up fine, mate.

Mine was the same exact way on my 1g gsx. Worked great, looked good, and actually flowed pretty decent.

Personally, the welds cracking was my concern on what looked like a cheap manifold. Since some tubular manifolds have issues with cracking. From the reviews in here it seems like a decent manifold though.

I don't see why a dremel wouldn't be good to use... In fact thats what i used to port my throttle body on my old non turbo dsm!

Honestly though it's all about preference on wrapping...I just use VHT 2000 degree ceramic coating. It looks better to me than wrapping.

Functions just as good too

Thanks for the photos guys. I plan to run the manifold with my 16g when it comes in and I hope it proves to be worth the $20.

1gdsmftw, Were can I get my hands on that ceramic coating? I think the mani would look really good with the coating compared to wrap.
