The ECU allways uses the MAF for the fuel trim. I thought it was called closed loop not open, but either way it has a set trim for your ecu to use so It does not calculate what your MAF and your O2 are reading. It will be rich, but it may be better running that then what you have going on right now.

Yeah, I believe it's closed loop.

According the v2 user "The OpenLoop option locks the ECU in open loop mode (ignoring the front O2 sensor input). This option is really only intended for a track car that wishes to use the front O2 sensor input into the ECU for datalogging something other than the front O2 sensor." page 27.

Sounds good, my bad...I forgot which name went with which function.
