At My Wits End.

It's now in the 20's and low 30's here and no one can seem to figure out why the heater in my son's car is not working.

We have replaced the thermostat, gasket, hoses, checked the door to make sure it's opening closing, air going in is hot, core is not clogged.....

I searched on the sight but didn't find anything we haven't covered. Anyone have any suggestions?

Are both heater hoses hot to the touch with the car warmed up?

Have you flushed the heater core/cooling system? I use CLR to do mine.

Is the blower fan working or not?

You may have an air bubble in your heater core, the things can be a royal pain to burp sometimes. I know thats what caused mine to not work and I couldn't figure out what it was.

Been burped and bled-even went through the trouble to jack the front end up high...

I will say it again, is the blower motor working?

Check the fuse?
Can you hear the fan when you turn on the heat?
Did you replace the radiator cap?

How do you know the heater core isnt bad, and or blocked up? Is it new, or did you take it out and check it?
