I'm trying to find anyone who has any experience using topline pistons. I'm running a little more than 300whp on my DD and need to replace the wiseco's I toasted. Trying not to spend $500 on pistons, but will if its needed. Thanks

I personally would not run a Topline 10mm bolt in my car.

Do it once, to it right.

Quality aint cheap and cheap aint quality.

What I would do is just get some after market pistons and rods at the most and know you are good to go or pick up some used pistons and buy some new rings.

They are hardly no-name, and I run them because they have been proven to handle the power.
I, as well as other members have them and have no problems.

The only reputation Topline has, is being trash.

If it makes you feel better, you can order the NPR pistons from a vendor and pay twice as much for the exact same thing.

I'm not looking for OEM replacements. I am looking to basically keep the same setup I have and run no more than 25 psi. I'm at 16psi right at 300 hp

I guess the question i've asked has been answered. Does anyone have any replacement recomendations other than buying used pistons (no way in hell I'm going to do that) or just anteing up the $500 for new wiseco's

Also, I have a 6 bolt bottom end

Not sure if this has any meaning or relevancy, but the Mitsu symbol is cast into the side of the pistons and they have the 63dT or whatever it is on the top of them.

NPR is the stock manufacturer for 2G pistons. People have run them over 400whp reliably.

Same thing, only 1G pistons are 7.8:1, and 2G pistons have a slightly beefier side skirt, and raise compression to 8.5:1. Both are equal quality.
