You could always run your own speaker wires and bypass the stock infinity amp. I have had my car hooked though the amp and bypassed and it sounded WAY better without the factory amp.

Can you run the wires straight from the unit to the speaker, or is there anything in-line?
Yes you will run the wires from the back of the stereo straight to the speakers. It is a bit of a pain to get the wire through the door loom but it can be done with a coat hanger or something something similar. The rear speakers are easy just have to remove a few panels.

Thats really my goal with everything I add to the car- make it look like it came that way.

Its an $1,899 unit that I got in trade for a blu-ray player, dvds, and $75. I scored big time. Thanks for the compliment!

I just dont know where to run the Speed Sensor wire.[/IMG]
If you want to do it "right" then it should be hooked up to your parking brake. That way the HU knows you are not driving and watching a movie.

...or you could just ground that wire and watch all the porn you want while driving.

I have the parking brake wire grounded so DVD's will play at any time (not that I will do that, its just easier to ground it)

The speed sensor wire *i think* has something to do with the GPS so I was hoping to look more into that this week. The car is apart so I havent tested the GPS driving. Thanks for your compliments I hope to have better quality pictures soon.

The weird this, is I dont have the infinity amp hooked up, its sitting on the shelf. But when I hooked this Eclipse unit up, all 4 speakers work. (not the tweets)

I assumed none of them would until I put the amp in. Im hoping when I do that the tweeters come back on.

Np, a good 2 din system just looks right at home in a DSM. Even in a 1g. I'd love to throw one in my next dsm and "update" all the old panel bulbs with matching led bulbs. Add in a clean leather interior and a modern dome light and ahhh :D better than new. But seriously a blu ray player ($100-$200), some used DVDs ($50-$100 max) and $75?... For a unit that retails for $1,900!? Your a lucky S.O.B .

I know :) Chick was really into her movie collection. I would have thrown in $400 more probably :p

I just did the red LED conversion in the interior too, it makes a big difference. And I have black w/tan leather so it really feels newer than any other 2g I've been in :D
