I've been noticing lately that after the lifter tick goes away there is a ticking / scratching sound coming from my bottom end, down near the crank pulley o maybe even the other side. Check the cank for movement the way the guys at road race suggested and pulled on the crank pulley but no movement. Any thoughts?

I haven't checked that. It sounds like its coming from inside the block or oil pan.

Does the noise change when the clutch pedal is pushed in/released?

No this noise is always present. I do had the scratching sound when the clutch is engaged That's not the noise I'm talking about.

Start with an Oil Drain man, see if you can catch some metal flakes/shavings in a paper towel. Start simple, work your way in. You will find your noise, eventually.
