Okay, so i bought my first DSM right before winter its a 1995 Talon Tsi. My problem is on a cold start like in the morning it has a low idle and sometimes when i push the clutch in it will stall. The idling is weird when the car is cold it will be low then jump to normal then it will keep doing that till it warms up then its a sold idle. The car kinda has a lot of mods on it if you need them just say something.

thanks ryan

Ok so i have a 14b turbo, apexi turbo back exhaust 3",godspeed Fmic, Greddy type s BOV recirculated, o2 sensors are simulated but the back one after the cat if i had one is cut and the hole is sealed off. When i bought the car he said it was simulated and it has a black box under the raido he also said my car doesnt use one so idk? Ill try to think of more. thanks

If I am reading your post right you need to get a front o2 sensor for starters. Your ecu needs that to make the car run right.

Sorry I guess I should have phrased that differently. I sounds like you said you were not running any o2 sensors because they are simulated. You car needs at least the front o2 sensor to run right. I would start by getting that.

Have you checked for boost leaks? When is the last time it had a tune up? Make sure your tps is properly adjusted. Is the cts good? There are alot of things to look at. Do a search for "idle surge" and start reading.

Was the ECU Socketed? Is that what he means by rebuilt? The O2 sensors help the ECU determine the Air/Fuel mixture it needs to run, and compensates where need be.

Has the Car had new plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, or an oil change lately? Probably wouldn't hurt doing a tune up.

Yes Frank, The Coolant Temp Sensor does come to mind.

And idk where i could get my car tuned at? About how much does it cost?

This is pretty much a DIY forum. Very few times do we bring our cars to have someone else touch them :)

Plugs, wires, oil, filters, etc should cost around $100-125 total. They are pretty easy to do yourself.
