SLEEPS Mighty Max

Not really a build so thought I would just throw up some pics of the progress of the max.

Interior. With Cracked's GSX seats and no carpet. Then With new carpet and waiting for the bench to go back in.

Engine, MAF adapter for the 2G box (that I never was able to use) and new Aluminum radiator.

Pics of the paint process.

And plenty more to come. Still have a door and other side of box to do.

Hope GTA's red looks just like this...

Yea it sure does man! I love that shade in the light, it's so freaking bright!!! I like how you did the lower section of the bumper in the black, it gives it a Evo/ Ralliart feel. The molding line that surrounds the headlights I would do in a semi flat black as well and get those Ebay black HID headlight housings. For the rear what ya got planned man?

Ya I tried to be a little different. Its a nice red thats for sure. I just forget how much I HATE spraying red. It gets everywhere!!!

I dont know for sure with the back yet. Still working on it. And I allready have the light conversion, but your right, the black ones would be trick. And the grill is broke so I am just leaving it as it for now.

No, they don't, but certain years of the MM you can swap the 4G63 DOHC head and turbo parts on with little issue.

I'm still down to help you turbo it if you want, man. You need an HX35, good set of 880's/Wally 255, and some oversized OEM 2G turbo pistons and you're good for boost.

Now THAT would be a truck! :rofl:

Looks great dude! I have been looking for a Mighty Max or an old B2000 to pick up this summer so I can go riding some more. I sold my old 250f to get my Buell, but I can't get away from dirt

Off topic- That's a RMZ250 in your avatar right? I was an amateur rider for Suzuki in the 125B stock and mod classes...great bikes!

Honestly I have seen bagged max's and I dont like em. I did cut my front coils however, and will be getting a little lower up front with some blocks in the rear.

Yesh, its a 2009 RMZ. Its my dads, I got to ride a little when I went back home last month. I havn't owned a bike for almost 3 years. I rode suzukis almost all my years, and I did get to race the RM Cup challange at washougal in 05 or 06. It was a blast. Then when I got to pro-am class I started to loose interest, and they were so freekin fast, I didnt have enough to get to that next level.

Here are some more pics...

Wish I would have bought all the paint and mixed it, you can kinda see the difference in the reds. The bed is slightly brighter than the rest. I knew better, just thought I would get lucky.

Man I need some wheels. And you can see the box is so torn up, the clear is flaking/peeling and is a pain to sand down. Its weird because the other side was not doing this at all. Only the driver door and driver side bed box. Not the roof, nor the hood or even the fender.

The front from a bugs eye. Har har. It looks kinda weird to me sometimes. Maybe its the bumper comes out to far, I cant put my finger on it.

Simple interior shot. Need a wood grain wheel! PM me if you gots one for a Grant adapter. Only slightly kidding.
