the power steering oil pump on my 91 gsx is leaking from the top nut where the pipe connects to the pump. sometimes just leaks a lil, sometimes more. is there a washer or gasket that i have to buy? i would take it appart now but i still need the car to get to work. if you guys tell me what i need i could probably order it and get it by saturday when i'm planning on working on it. thanks in advance for any help.

Well, after 2 weeks, I can finally say my car is officially "fixed". I had the auto shop put on a new alternator at no charge. While I was there, I also had them install a new timing belt, balance belt, timing belt tensioner and balance belt tensioner.
To make a long story short, they f&@ked up the balance belt install 3 times!! I kept telling them it was the balance belt, but they refused to believe me. I even gave them the factory service manual for my car as a guide ( I think I insulted them ;-) )
FINALLY, they got it right, but only to find out that my turbo oil return line was leaking. Again, not something that was broken when I went in there. But I refuse to let them ever touch my car again, so a did a little ghetto fix with some heater hose and new gaskets. I'll probably call Conicelli one of these days if it starts leaking again, but it seems to be holding up for now.

What is DSSA and do you have the part number for that gasket kit? I am having the same problem on an evo 8 I just bought because the guy I bought it from didn't know what he was doing.I had the same leak on my PS. I got the gasket kit from DSSA, replaced the gasket on that stud on the pump, no more leak.

This thread is from 2003 and intended for dsm's, not evo's (I think there'd be a pn difference). I suggest you contact some place like JNZTuning.net and explain what you have going on and they should be able to look up new Mitsu o-rings for you.
