Hey my battery terminals were stripped out so I went to carquest and got a set of "marine terminals".I chose them because they have a twist off wingnut and i do a lot of disconnecting/ reconnecting for varios reasons and these seemed to be more convienient for that kind of thing. Does anyone see a reason against this? Anyone done the same?

I have it on my negative post. Have had it for about 2 years now and haven't had any issues yet.

Isn't that what they came with? Mine had them from the start.....

That's how I roll, have the wing nut posts on the positive and negative so getting my battery out is a breez. It's also nice if you have to disconnect the terminals to work on the car or to store it over the winter. I wouldn't call them marine posts though since you can get them at any auto store.
