You should check out ecmlinks site. They have lots of good info about this conversion. They even sell the sensors and cable to make it plug and play with V3.

Go to the link forum and follow the links to the wiki.... There is a very nice detailed how-to under Speed density FAQ's
This exactly.

But, for future reference:

How to setup Speed Density

IAT, MAP, and Bung for Speed Density

Speed Density cable for direct plug and play with the MAP and IAT sensors (so you don't have to splice and solder connections)

They recommend NOT running a GM 3.3 bar MAP or an AEM 3.5bar MAP. They say they either are not reliable, or not calibrated equally when manufactured. Use the one they provide in the SD sensor bundle back (second link).

Show me this because last I checked they recommend on their site to use GM map sensors.

Unless you have no choice, do not use a GM 3.3-bar or AEM 3.5-bar sensor for SD. Neither is particularly suitable. The GM 3.3-bar doesn't read full vacuum and the AEM 3.5-bar tends to have unreliable calibration and less than desirable precision.
