You might have a hole in your exhaust or your muffler is no longer any good. A muffler is part of the exhaust that is used for reducing the amount of noise emitted by the engine. I would start there. Or as I saw in your other post you forgot to plug in your airflow sensor, maybe you forgot to reinstall the exhaust, or missed a section of it when putting it on?

Your wrong. The engine itself is no louder than anything else. Like lazy said, you prolly forgot to put somthine on, or have a hole somewhere.

Muffler variation and brands can change the overall sound depth and volume. Some mufflers resonate or project the sound further than expected, however others may be soft or silent until a certain engine speed.

Not only does the turbo muffle but also deepens the tone and that only gets better under load. There are exceptions, ewg is one of them.

My non turbo was rather quiet so I will agree with the rest that you either have a hole somewhere or forgot something or didnt tighten it down or blown gasket.... Something of that sort. Now if your running a turbo car with just a downpipe and a turndown off of a pte6262.... Well its rather loud:)
