Strut Mounts?

Just got KYB GR-2'S delivered and took the car to get them put on but the guy said he always likes to use all new mounts so now I need to order those too.

What mounts should I get and where should I get them from. This is for my 1g FWD turbo car.

I believe KYB also makes replacement mounts. You can also check rockauto, google for them, or check e-bay. I know I got mine from the place I picked up my shocks from. I also like to get new boots and bump stops too.

Would you know who sells ?strut mount kits? where everything is included ie, mounts, boots, etc. Keep in mind I'm on a budget Btw, do upper mounts generally go bad on 1g dsm's? I guess i should buy them tho :dunno: and if they don't need replacing at time of strut install then i return them

Monroe makes a good strut mount which is available at Advance Auto Parts. Great part but the Rock Auto stuff will be cheaper, depends how much time you have to get the parts in your hands. I replaced my original 19 year old mitsu struts with GR2s this past summer and I still reused my original strut mounts.
