Not my car, but this is what gave me the idea as well. I have no clue why Mitsu didn't give the GST Spyder a rainbow spoiler. Maybe clearance issues when you open the trunk?

I'm on the fence about looks. I love the rainbow spoiler, but maybe not on a Spyder. It's just mildly annoying when people think I have a 420a because of the "non-turbo" spoiler.

Haha, I always wanted to see how it looked... It doesn't look right. The spoiler that the Spyders have now look just fine. :) This thread fulfilled my curiosity. Thanks!

Well, it wasn't so much of a Rally Edition as us DSM freaks like to refer to. It was actually publicized as simply a "10th Anniversary Edition" In 1999 ONLY. Though, it was still just a standard GS.

Best thing they did for the car was Disc brakes on All 4 Corners only option, & the OZ F1-Racing Rims, which some of, are even Enkei's. When I say Enkei's, I mean they are the SAME wheels that came on the EVO IV overseas. "OZ Rims, Badged as Enkei's overseas". The wheels aren't really all that special though, I prefer my standard swirly 16's. The OZ rims are a 16 X 6 rim.

To sum it up, a "10th Anniversary Edition" GS, is the same as the OZ Racing Edition, though I don't know where that badge came into play? 10th A.E is as follows, 420A FWD N/A, 2GB Eclipse, Turbo Spoiler, White Face Gauges, Black on Grey Interior, Sunroof, ABS, OZ Rims, & A protective Lip "optional, & very few seen".

All in all, its my old GS Dressed up with a High Rise, some rims, & White gauges.

WHY, oh WHY! Did they make it an N/A, then some of us could really have some factory glorified cars!

EDIT: If it was an RS 10th Anniversary Edition, thats where the option of keeping rear drum brakes came in. RS Disc Front Brakes, Drum Rear. Sorry.
 
Ah, that makes plenty of sense now. I didn't think it was all that special. But you are right about one thing: if it came like that for the turbocharged models... It would have been truely amazing!
