So...I got into boost and all off a sudden I hit 10.0:1 on the WB and had a huge James Bond smoke screen out my exhaust. The smoke was so thick I couldn't see any head lights behind me...and it was pitch black outside.
I checked:
1. Shaft play of turbo
The turbo has the same amount of shaft play it always had.
2. Outlet of compressor (cold side)
This is dry. I loosened the t-bolt clamp holding the coupler on and shined a light down it. Dry. The outlet of the turbo is also dry.
3. External Wastegate
Pulled the wastegate off and it is dry along with the inside of the o2 housing.
4. Exhaust downpipe
Pulled the downpipe off and the inside of the downpipe is dry along with the o2 housing.
I'm going to pull the valve cover and check for milk chocolate. I took off the t-stat housing cap and I definitely lost coolant somewhere. Any quick tests you guys know to check for head gasket failures? Dipstick didn't look like milk chocolate so I may be safe...although when I got into boost the dipstick lifted and oil shot ALL OVER MY FUCKING ENGINE BAY. FML
'Tis a sad, sad day in my world.
