I have, and I'll continue to do it for every 1GA car I ever own in the future. I got a cheap eGay kit, and even mine was amazing. I have trouble seeing at night, and changing these to H4 and a slightly brighter bulb helped out big time, and not just that but I must admit an added bonus was the way the car looked at night with the clear corner lenses and H4 superwhite bulbs in. :D

Definite buy, you won't regret it. Only cons I have are I had to readjust/aim my headlights, but eh, couple minutes and that was done.

I have one picture but it's very well lit and facing the car so you can't really tell how nice and bright it is. My cars parted out or I would take a picture for you that way.

What lights are you using? They were the perfect level brighter than my stock ones. Not once in all the cross country road trips(at night, hate driving in the day) or anywhere around town have I ever once had someone flash their lights back at me. They're noticeably brighter, but not "burn oncoming traffics eyes out" brighter. It all depends on the bulb you choose, I got "Superwhite" bulbs, I forget exact what temperature.

But, the point and the biggest benefit of an H4 conversion, is the ability to use H4 style bulbs which are not only everywhere, but come in a damn near endless different brightness levels. If you need brighter bulbs, run down to Autozone and drop a few bucks for brighter, same with if you need them a little less bright. Changing the bulb is a breeze too.

Basically what I'm trying to say is having a brighter bulb is only a small part of why these are handy and a good investment.

I think there is some crap parts store aftermarket highlight unit installed on there now that the last owner put in. They have little blue bulbs in the corners in addition to the regular lights but they aren't hooked up to anything.

Yeah, you got some bad ones then. Mine are definitely easily replaceable. Just pull off the big black round rubber/weatherstripping, flip the little bulb retainer, and pull the bulb out. Do in reverse order to install. :)

Also, I don't know how well you can see them, but these are mine. Got in off FleaBay in a package deal(everything you see for $100 shipped).

(Notice the little blue city lights)

I have those same as above as well. I converted all my Trans Am's over to those styles. I had trouble with the back part fitting into the head lamp bucket and had to slightly modify them to accept a good fit. However with the use of some Ebay HID's they look great. Somewhere on the site I have pics of the Trans Am's as well...

I'm not really looking to convert to HIDs, just to the H4 bulbs.

Taking a second look, I guess my bulbs are replaceable. Do these look like the H4 conversion setup? Would upgrading just to the e-code housing help? Or maybe rewiring the lights with relays?
